Praj Industries took the #1 spot in the 2024 “50 Hottest Companies in the Advanced Bioeconomy” rankings, published today in The Digest, the world’s most widely-read bioeconomy daily.
Virent (#2), Gevo (#3), LanzaJet (#4), BioVeritas (#5), LanzaTech (#6), Marquis (#7), Fluid Quip Technologies (#8), Viridis (#9) and AFYREN (#10) rounded out the top 10.
The annual rankings, which recognize innovation and achievement in fuels and integrated biorefinery development, are based on votes from an invited panel of distinguished international selectors and subscribers of The Digest.
Fresh faces were the order of the day. LanzaJet, Marquis, Fluid Quip Technologies, Viridis, BioVeritas and AFYREN made their first appearances in the top 10.
“This year, the voters went jet in picking companies from all around the world focused on sustainable aviation fuels and chemicals — founded in India, New Zealand, the US, the UK, in the top 10,” said Digest editor and publisher Jim Lane.
